Welcome To The
BREAST CANCER PODCAST
With Rosalina and Shauna
As seen on the Kelly Clarkson show, Too Young For This Shit is an AYA breast cancer podcast that provides a supportive space for women affected by breast cancer. Our podcast shares authentic breast cancer stories to increase awareness and education about breast cancer, especially in young women.
Our mission is to empower and educate young women about breast cancer while creating a sense of relatability so that no woman feels isolated or alone in their journey. Our podcast features our experiences, medical experts, and guests who share their personal breast cancer experiences, providing a platform for listeners to learn from others who have walked a similar path.
If you or someone you know is affected by breast cancer, tune in to our podcast and join our community. We are here to support you and to raise awareness about breast cancer in young women.
Meet Rosalina and Shauna, two young millennials living on separate coasts who share real stories about their breast cancer diagnosis. We created this podcast to bring awareness of this disease to young women and create a supportive space where no one is alone on this journey. We dive deep into our treatment plans, journeys, struggles, and mental health while navigating life in this “new” normal. With every episode, our mission is to educate, empower, connect, and bring laughter. We are open and honest about our experiences and committed to learning and growing right alongside you. Welcome to our community! Join us for new episodes every Thursday! Any questions or thoughts, contact us through firstname.lastname@example.org or follow us on Instagram, @tyftspodcast. Chiara, who faced stage IV breast cancer at 27, chats with Rosalina and Shauna about the misconceptions about cancer and the challenges of relationships after diagnosis. She opens up about the emotional and physical struggles of living with stage IV cancer, reflecting on how cancer changes who you are and what you want in life.
On dating apps, Chiara didn’t have much luck. She shares experiences of ghosting, judgment, and fetishization(yes, you read that correctly!), leading her to disengage from these platforms. But one day, at a friend’s party, she met David. After a few months, they hit it off and became more than just friends. However, Chiara shares how being in a serious relationship while dealing with a terminal illness is difficult for both her and David.
